Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha), which has been trusted again as the implementer of Category II Teacher Professional Education (PPG-Daljab) in 2022, has started to make preparations, one of which is refreshing instructors. This activity took place online, Tuesday (23/8/2022).
PPG Undiksha Coordinator, Drs. I Gede Nurjaya explained that Undiksha received an allocation of 1,072 participants consisting of Balinese, Indonesian, English, guidance counseling, Science, Physics, Mathematics, PG PAUD, PGSD, Physical Education, PPKN, and Informatics Engineering Education. These participants are those appointed for the 2016-2019 period.
Undiksha already has long experience in implementing PPG. However, maximum preparations are still being made, including for the instructors. Especially at PPG this time, Undiksha received an allocation for a new field of study, namely physics. “I really appreciate the instructors who want to work on PPG this time. We all serve the interests of education in Indonesia,” he said.
The implementation of PPG online is the same as category I. There are a number of activities that participants must take part in for approximately one semester, which starts in August. Among them, are material deepening, learning development, and Field Experience Practice. In this case, the role of the instructor is very important.
It is hoped that the implementation of all activities in this PPG will receive the support of the participants. “We invite all participants to prepare themselves well, so that what is the essence of the PPG program can be realized, namely being able to produce teachers who are superior and more professional,” he concluded.
