Scholarship

Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha provides various types of scholarships for outstanding students and underprivileged students sourced from Undiksha, government and non-government institutions. Management, registration, and selection of scholarships are held online and offline.

KIP is tuition education assistance that aims to give a free registration for college admissions and tuition or education costs. Starting from the 2020/2021 academic year, KIP awardee will also receive money with living expenses of varying amounts. Citing the 2021 KIP Lecture Registration Guidelines from Educator Financing Service Center of The Ministry of Eduction and Culture, there are three benefits given for KIP awardee, namely: exemption of registration fees for college admissions, exemption of tuition/education fees, monthly living expenses assistance.

General requirements for KIP scholarship registration as reported by Indonesian Information Portal are:

  • KIP awardees are a high school students or the equivalent who will be graduated in the current year or graduate two years earlier.
  • KIP awardees have good academic potential but have a low economic background that are supported by valid documents.
  • KIP awardees pass the student admissions through all university admission paths and are accepted into state university or private university of integrated study programs.
  • Another special requirement is KIP scholarship which is intended for people with disabilities who are accepted into universities, or affirmative students (coming from Papua and West Papua as well as 3T and TKI).

PPA Scholarship which is stand for Academic Achievement Improvement is a scholarship given to students who have excellent academic ability or academic achievement that proven by the last GPA. PPA scholarship is sourced from the Directorate General of Higher Education of the Ministry of National Education and is given to students who have high academic achievement (GPA) but has a low economic background and active in extra-curricular activities and other requirements set by Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha. PPA scholarships or tuition assistance are given for the active students based on the current fiscal year period and firstly given for at least 6 months. Students are not entitled to receive if they have graduated.

This PPA scholarship is sourced from the Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of National Education. This scholarship is given to students who has low background with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0. Period of the scholarship award is one year. Awardee of this scholarship must also fulfill the requirements to be active in student extra-curricular activities as well as other requirements determined by Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha

Supersemar scholarships are awarded by Jakarta Supersemar Foundation to students who are exellent academically and active in student extracurricular organizations. Scholarships are allocated every year, starting from April to March. The selection of scholarship is carried out by Undiksha’s Supersemar Scholarship Management Team under the coordination of the Vice Rector III.

Papuan ADik Program is a program of partiality for indigenous Papuan in Papua and West Papua Provinces by providing opportunities to study at state universities organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture through a special selection mechanism for high school students equivalent, based on academic achievement screening. Areas that become targeted implementation in Papua Province and West Papua Province are; Regency/City which has an equivalent high school and fulfill the requirements as participants of Papuan Adik program, as regulated by law.

Other scholarships that have been offered and received by Undiksha’s students are Tuition Fee Assistance (BKM), University Entrance Scholarships (BMU), First Year Scholarships for new students, Scholarships from Indonesia Bank, scholarships from BRI Bank, scholarships from BNI, scholarships from the Regional Government of Bali (Department of Education, Youth, and Sports), Undiksha Rector scholarships, scholarships from various local governments.
