Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) is one of the socialization places for the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) in order to provide knowledge and understanding and accept community aspirations by a member of Commission XI DPR RI Dapil Bali, I Gusti Agung Rai Wirajaya. This activity, which was attended by hundreds of participants, took place in the Rectorate’s Ganesha III Room, Thursday (12/3/2020).
This activity was opened by Vice Chancellor II Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd. He conveyed that the election of Undiksha as one of the places for socialization showed that people’s trust was increasing. This socialization is expected to increase the understanding of the entire academic community on the functions and roles of IDIC. This cannot be separated from the condition of the banking world in this modern era which is very risky with various economic dynamics. And shocks to public confidence in the banking world will trigger new problems. On that occasion, the presence of this DPR RI member did not only absorb the aspirations of the people related to banking. But it is also hoped that it will socialize and see Undiksha as an institution that needs to be developed by the government. (hms)
