Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) as one of the universities in Indonesia has a strategic role in improving the quality of Human Resources (HR). In line with this, the education costs offered are quite popular with the hope that they can be affordable by all levels of society. This was conveyed by the Chancellor, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd on the sidelines of reviewing the re-registration of prospective students for the National Selection for Entrance to State Universities (SNMPTN) for the 2019/2020 academic year at the Undiksha Auditorium, Monday (20/5/2019).
He further stated that the university he founded offers a number of scholarships, starting from Bidikmisi whose quota this year reached 668 people, with details of 30 percent through the SNMPTN route, 40 percent through the SBMPTN route, 15 percent through the independent route to search for interests and talents and 15 percent through the independent route through Computer. Based Testing (CBT). Apart from that, there are also scholarships from CSR from institutions/companies, the Chancellor, PPA, BBM, district government, and others. The recipients are spread across all faculties, including medicine, which has only been established for a year. “We are committed to making Undiksha a campus that is popular and loved by the people. The education costs we offer are affordable. There are also scholarships. “Especially for Bidikmisi scholarships, we propose as many as possible to the center,” emphasized the Chancellor from Nusa Dua, Badung Regency.
Scholarship selection is not carried out haphazardly but still refers to existing requirements, namely lack of ability and achievement. This is also carried out on an ongoing basis. “If there is a recipient who does not comply with the requirements, they will immediately revoke it and be asked to return it. “We hope that the data submitted is truly in accordance with real conditions,” he said.
Not only that, recipients are also required to demonstrate academic and non-academic abilities while studying at this campus with eight faculties. There must be advantages over other students.
