Singaraja – Chancellor of the Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha), Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd. officially appointed as a member of the Honorary Council of the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Buleleng Regency for the 2020-2025 Service Period by the Chairman of the Bali Province PMI. In reading the Decree of the Bali Province PMI Management regarding the Appointment and Ratification of the Buleleng Honorary Board and Management of PMI Regency for the 2020-2025 Service Period, the composition of the elected PMI Buleleng Regency Honorary Board and Management was conveyed. The PMI Honorary Council for Buleleng Regency is chaired by Gede Supriatna, S.H. (Chairman of DPRD Buleleng Regency), with 2 members namely: Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd. (Undiksha Chancellor) and dr. Putu Arya Nugraha, Sp.PD. (Director of Buleleng District Hospital). Meanwhile, the Board of PMI for Buleleng Regency is chaired by dr. I Nyoman Sutjidra, Sp. OG. (Deputy Regent of Buleleng), with Vice Chairman, dr. Putu Sudarsana, SpOG. and supported by several board members. The Honorary Board and Management of PMI Buleleng Regency were inaugurated online by the Chairman of the Bali Province PMI Management, I Gusti Bagus Alit Putra, S.H., S.Sos., M.Sc. which is symbolized by embedding PMI pins for each elected administrator.
In his remarks, dr. I Nyoman Sutjidra, Sp.OG. as Chairman of the PMI Buleleng Regency Board, expressed my appreciation to all honorary boards and PMI Buleleng Regency administrators who were elected for being ready to do community service. “Being an administrator here is a service without expecting material rewards, and we hope for support from the Buleleng Regency Government to provide support for the development of PMI in Buleleng,” he said.
Sutjidra also hopes that together they will perfect the previous program of management, namely the formation of PMI administrators for each sub-district, and hopes to be able to carry out this task well. “I hope that the current elected PMI management can perfect the previous management program so that PMI is able to serve the wider community and carry it out properly,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Regent of Buleleng in his speech read by the Regional Secretary of Buleleng Regency, Drs. Gede Suyasa, M.Pd. hopes that the elected Board of PMI for Buleleng Regency can provide maximum service to the people in Buleleng Regency in particular.
For information, the election for the PMI Buleleng Regency Honorary Board and Management was the result of the PMI Buleleng District Conference (MUSKAB) on December 11, 2020. (hms)
