Badung- Universitas Perndidikan Ganesha (Undiksha) was entrusted with hosting the Remuneration Forum for Legal Entities (PTN-BH) and Public Service (PTN-BLU) boards in Kuta, Badung, from 10 to 12 November 2022. This meeting served as a space to equalize perceptions in implementing remuneration at each higher education.
This forum meeting invited all PTN BH and PTN BLU, both from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbud ristekdikti), the Ministry of Religion, and the Polytechnic. This event was opened by Undiksha Vice Rector for Public Administration, Planning, Finance and Resources, Prof. Dr. Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd. He, who represented the Rector, expressed gratitude for his trust in Undiksha as the host of this annual agenda. It is hoped that this meeting will become a space for sharing ideas and thoughts on remuneration management at each higher education so that later it can improve by following applicable regulations and always prioritising transparency and accountability.
Meanwhile, Head of the Meeting Organizing Committee, Prof. Dr. I Gede Adi Yuniarta, S.E.,Ak.,M.Sc., explained that remuneration is still an interesting issue and is often discussed. In its development, more and more universities are implementing remuneration. Therefore, it is necessary to have a common perception among Higher education, one of which is through this forum meeting. “So it is necessary to hold a forum on current issues with remuneration and also developments followed by developments in the remuneration system,” he said
This Dean of the Undiksha Faculty of Economics explained remuneration is the provision of additional salary or income to an employee as an appreciation for his work. In this case, objective assessment becomes one of the challenges faced. Facing these challenges requires a common perception so that the implementation can run well.
This meeting also invited 4 speakers, namely the Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek), Dr. Chatarina Muliana Girsang, S.H., S.E., M.H., Kemendikbudristek Auditor, Azhar Syahrir, Head of the PPK BLU sub-directorate of the Ministry of Finance, Anna Mariana, and Executor of the BLU Remuneration Section of the Ministry of Finance, Decta Pitron Lugastoro.
