Singaraja- Ugracena Bali Student Regiment Battalion B-920/Jayastambha Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) held a Community Service Program (P2M). The program, which will take place from 11 October to 25 October 2020, is centered at Banjar Lebah Sari, Bungaya Village, Bebandem District, Karangasem Regency.
The form of program that was rolled out by the student organization was in the form of an overhaul of the community’s Badminton Field infrastructure, making of flagpoles, distribution of basic necessities, distribution of masks, joint healthy gymnastics, and provision of introductory material on defending the country to Elementary School (SD) children.
This activity was attended by Advisor II UKM Menwa Undiksha Arief Billah, S.Pd, Bungaya Village apparatus, Commander of the Ugracena Bali Student Regiment Battalion B-920/Jayastambha Undiksha along with members and the Bungaya Village community.
Kelian Adat Lebah Sari, Buhri Rahman fully supports the implementation of this program. In particular, he mentioned that the renovation of the badminton court is expected to increase the interest of the people in Bungaya Village to exercise so that a healthy society can be realized. The head of Lebah Sari Hamlet, Jamaludin also appreciated this program. “We hope that this activity can benefit the people in Bungaya Village,” he said.
The Commander of the Ugracena Bali Student Regiment Battalion B-920/Jayastambha Undiksha Gede Ari Wahyudi conveyed that this program was an implementation of higher education’s dharma, namely community service. “Through the renovation of this field, we hope that it can be used by the community to better maintain their health by exercising diligently to maintain their body’s immunity so they are not affected by Covid-19,” he said.
