Singaraja- Society, especially Bali has entered a new order of life (new normal) in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. This has caught the attention of the Chancellor of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd. It is hoped that the Undiksha academic community will remain disciplined in following the applicable protocols. “New normal This doesn’t mean we can go back to how it used to be. But still implementing the protocols to prevent the spread of Covid-19,” he said on the sidelines of a leadership meeting, Friday (10/7/2020).
The protocol, he continued, was in the form of using hand sanitizers, masks and implementing social and physical distancing. This also needs to be balanced with the application of other healthy lifestyles, such as exercising. “I see there are still people who don’t wear masks when they go to the market,” he said.
As academics, the Undiksha academic community is expected not only to comply with the applicable protocols but also to educate the community, so that they can jointly apply discipline. “Let’s socialize to the community how this new normal life is. We apply the applicable protocol,” he added. (hms)
