Singaraja- Indonesian Red Cross Voluntary Corps (PMI) Ganesha University Education Unit (Undiksha) held the 2019 Intermediate PMR Evaluation (ECT) event in Bali, on Sunday (23/6/2019). This activity is in order to make the 74th anniversary of the Indonesian Red Cross a success.
The Chair of the Committee, Ni Luh Permata Sari, in her report said that 11 teams from a number of junior high schools throughout Bali took part in the event. It is hoped that through this, the intelligence and skills of PMR people will increase and they will become more professional in carrying out their duties, especially in social missions. “This is also to introduce PMI Undiksha,” he said.
Apart from ECT, previously social service was also carried out, as a form of concern for the community, especially in terms of health. Meanwhile, Deputy Chancellor III Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Suastra, M.Pd., said that the mission carried out by PMI is very much in line with the Tri Hita Karana philosophy which is the basis for realizing Undiksha’s vision as a superior university in Asia in 2045. “PMI can implement good relations between people. “We hope to always be present in the community, just like when there is a disaster,” he said.
Through this event, it is hoped that PMI cadres will become stronger and excel in action in the future. Especially for the implementation of the competition, the party stated that it was very supportive. It is hoped that it can run sustainably and be able to attract more and more participants. “In the future, socialization can be further boosted so that there will be more participants,” added the former Undiksha Postgraduate Director.
