Singaraja-Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) held its LXVIII graduation ceremony, Thursday (25/8/2022) and Friday (26/8/2022). This time the graduation was held offline following the slumping of the Covid-19 pandemic. Through this moment, graduates from various study programs are invited to continue to improve their skills and develop their potential.
This graduation was attended by 1,468 graduates from D3, S1, S2, and S3 education levels. This graduation is the first time it has been held completely offline during the pandemic. In order to prevent the spread of Covid-19, the committee continues to implement health protocols.
Chancellor of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd., said that Undiksha is committed to always contributing in order to produce superior, competent, and Pancasila-character human resources in order to create a better Indonesia in the future. As a tertiary institution, Undiksha is currently improving to always improve its quality, both in the fields of education and teaching, research, and community service.
During their studies, graduates are equipped with knowledge, skills, technology, and life values, with the hope that they will be able to get decent jobs and be able to create jobs, continue to be motivated to improve their quality of life and be useful and of value to families and society.
The Chancellor for these two periods believes that the achievements made by the graduates while studying at Undiksha do not fully reflect their superior potential. Therefore, it is very important for graduates to continue to develop to realize all their potential and become superior human resources in order to create a better Indonesia in the future.
Delivered further, in its journey, various achievements have been achieved by Undiksha, both related to institutional governance and specifically related to academic and non-academic fields. These achievements consist of national and international levels. This achievement is considered inseparable from the support and role of the graduates. It is hoped that the spirit of achievement can continue to grow to realize Undiksha as a Trend-setter and International Reputable University.
Representative of the graduates, Luh Putu Shanti Yuliastiti, S.Pd., said she was proud to be able to attend this graduation. She also expressed her impressions while studying at Undiksha. At this A-accredited campus, she admitted that he gained various experiences, both related to the Tri Dharma of Higher Education and in the development of soft skills.
This graduation was not only attended by graduates but also allowed for parents. In contrast to the previous implementation which was carried out in a limited manner with online and hybrid implementation. (hms)
