Singaraja- Another proud achievement presented by the University of Education Ganesha (Undiksha) students. Ni Putu Ayu Pirdayanti, a student of the English Language Education Study Program, won Runner Up 1 position at the National level in the 2021 Indonesian Education Male and Female Selection Event which took place at the Banana Inn Hotel & SPA Bandung, West Java, 5 to 7 October 2021.
Ayu Pirdayanti recounted her long journey to achieve this achievement. “The stages of the activity are held in two methods, namely online and offline. Online activities take place from 13-20 August 2021 with an agenda for Online Karatina activities. While offline it will take place at the Banana Inn Hotel & SPA, Bandung on 5-7 October 2021,” he said when conveying this achievement to the Deputy Chancellor for Student Affairs, Alumni and Public Relations of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Suastra, M.Pd. Friday (5/11/2021).
In the event organized by the Indonesian Youth Achievement Association which involved several education experts, Ayu continued to bring the core of education namely advocacy for the Development of Learning Media for Children with Disabilities. “In making it happen, I was also assisted by students and also lecturers at Undiksha,” she added.
From this event, she also won the title of Miss Nusantara Education 2021 and the Best Online Quarantine Finalist. “There were many series of activities that were carried out during online and offline quarantine including Education Discussion Forums, Competency Tests, Talent Shows, Gala Dinners, Deep Interviews, National Costume Competitions, Preliminary Competitions, Table Manners, and Grand Finals. All of these activities were successfully passed and it can be said that they achieved maximum results, “she said.
Besides succeeding in bringing Undiksha onto the national stage, Ayu also represented the province of Bali by successfully being ranked 2nd nationally. “Besides getting to know education experts, I also know friends from all over Indonesia with different educational backgrounds. This is an extraordinary opportunity,” he said.
This achievement further adds to her enthusiasm to continue to be able to maintain her mandate as the Miss Education of the Archipelago and contribute and be dedicated, especially in the world of education.
Meanwhile, Prof. I Wayan Suastra positively welcomed this achievement and hoped it would become an inspiration for Undiksha students. “We Undiksha leaders are certainly very proud of this achievement.
