Singaraja- Undiksha Student Activity Unit (UKM) Student Regiment (Menwa) continues to make efforts to improve the quality of its members. One of them is by including basic military education and training. This year, there are seven new members taking part in Rindam IX Udayana, Kediri, and Tabanan Regency. Release by Vice Chancellor III Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Suastra, M.Pd., took place, Wednesday (19/6/2019).
Commander of Menwa Undiksha, Ni Wayan Widnyani, said that this activity was participated in for ten days with Menwa members from a number of other universities in Bali. “This is a way to improve the quality of members,” she explained. Through these activities, she continued, she could also further develop a disciplined attitude which is one of the keys to success. “We hope that this activity can be followed as well as possible because it is very useful. “Not only for now but also in the future,” she said.
Meanwhile, Prof. Suastra said that participation in UKM, especially Menwa, would provide its own benefits for students. Through this, you will be able to build social interactions, foster a spirit of cooperation, and learn to solve problems. “Organization is very important for self-development. We hope that with this training, Menwa members will improve. “We can increasingly contribute to supporting institutional programs,” he said. The release which took place in the Undiksha Rectorate Lobby was marked by the wearing of backpacks.
