The Sport Science Futsal (SSF) Tournament was held by the Sports Science Department Student Association (HMJ), Faculty of Sports and Health (FOK), Ganesha Education University. The event, which took place at the GOR on the Jinengdalem campus, Buleleng District/Regency, was opened by the Deputy Dean III of FOK, Kadek Happy Kardiawan, S.Pd., M.Pd., Friday (9/11/2018).
The tournament, which was attended by 16 teams from Singaraja City High Schools/Vocational Schools, is not only a forum for channeling sports talent, especially futsal. But also to introduce departments and faculties to a wider audience. “This is one way to promote the campus. Our target is high school/vocational school children. Those who later go on to college. “We have conveyed the faculty programs,” he explained.
It was further stated that the dean’s ranks are very supportive of the tournament which will run until November 11, including in terms of funding. “This is very related to the faculty. “Of course we fully support it,” he said. Apart from futsal, FOK also has other championships, such as the Dean’s Cup Tennis. (hms)
