Singaraja- The DPM of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences (FHIS) of Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha) held a Dean’s Meeting on Friday, 18 November 2022. The activity in the FHIS Seminar Room served as a space to convey student aspirations.
This activity was attended by Faculty Leaders, Faculty Student Advisers and Student Organizations within the Faculty and Department. The theme of this activity was “Realizing students who are FHIS (Familiar, Harmonious, Interactive, and Sociable).
The head of the DPM FHIS Undiksha, Ni Luh Eniasih, conveyed that the Dean’s meeting was a follow-up activity for the aspirations collected from students, as well as being the main task and function of the DPM FHIS. At this meeting, the aspirations conveyed by students to the faculty leadership were related to facilities and infrastructure, student organizations’ performance, environmental cleanliness, as well as academic and non-academic activities. “Hopefully by carrying out this activity, the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences Undiksha will be better and can become even more superior,” she said.
The Dean of FHIS Undiksha, Prof. Dr. Sukadi, M.Pd., M.Ed., welcomed the implementation of this activity. “I am very happy because this is the first time to see a polite demo. This is very well implemented, so we from the leadership know what aspirations come from students, and vice versa, maybe from us as the Dean there will want to convey their aspirations to students,” he said.
Through this activity, it is hoped to bring better changes to the faculty and the university. (rls/hms)
