Singaraja – Ganesha Education University (Undiksha) students won first place at the “Business Plan and Video Creative Competition” event, organized by Eighterprise Yogyakarta State University. This national level achievement was presented by a team led by I Gede Artha Wibawa from the Information Systems Study Program, with members Ni Kadek Anggun Purwita Sari from the Management Study Program and Ni Made Putri Oktadewi from the History Education Study Program. This team was also known as FTGM.
In the event with the theme “Growing Business Spirits in Young Generations During a Pandemic ro Realize Indonesia’s Economic Independence”, this team had to go through three stages. First, the Business Model Canvas (BMC) selection stage which took place on May 13th, 2021 and managed to qualify for the top 30 from 33 teams.
Second, the proposal and video selection stage which took place on June 6th, 2021 and they managed to qualify again in the top 10 out of 30 teams. Furthermore, the third stage was the presentation of the proposal which took place on June 10th, 2021. Finally the FTGM Team was determined as the first winner of the 10 participating teams. Artha Wibawa confirmed on Friday (11/6/2021) and stated, “We are proud to achieve this achievement. This is the best results for our hard preparation.”
Interestingly, citied from http://is.undiksha.ac.id, in 2021, this team also won second place in the Business Competition Competition organized by the Mulawarman University Business Student Association, third place in the Undiknas Business Model Canvas Competition which organized by the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Economics and Business, and won the favorite poster winner and the top 10 Entrepreneur Business Challenge Competition organized by the Faculty of Entrepreneurship UNIKA Widya Mandala Surabaya.
Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Public Relations Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Suastra, M.Pd., expressed his appreciation for this achievement, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. This achievement contributes to increasing the university’s competitiveness, including in the Student Ranking Information System every year.
