Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) continues to encourage the preparation of scientific articles by lecturers. Socialization was also diligently carried out, such as on Tuesday (4/12/2018) in the Ganesha III Room, Undiksha Rectorate. As a form of acceleration, the university which already has a Faculty of Medicine has formed a special team to provide assistance.
Head of the Undiksha Journal and Publication Development Center, Dr. I Wayan Widiana, M.Pd., said that the publication of scientific articles is very important to support the promotion of lecturers and obtain the title of professor. “That (scientific article-ed) is a requirement, so it needs to be encouraged,” he said.
During the socialization, a number of things were conveyed. Namely, the pattern of article assessment and the point of view between the assessor and the author. “Through this, we have the same perception regarding assessment and so on. “This also includes the introduction of scientific journals which are called national, international journals, and reputable international journals,” he said.
Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ida Bagus Putu Arnyana, M.Si., said that Undiksha continues to boost the publication of scientific works, especially in reputable international journals. “This is not just for institutional interests. But also for individuals. “You can be promoted and become a professor,” he said. Meanwhile, regarding the formation of a special team, this has just been carried out. Through this, article publication can be faster and more prepared. “This team will provide assistance,” added this academic from Kemenuh, Gianyar. (hms)
