Singaraja-ADIK Papua Affirmation Students, 3T, and TKI have become the Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha) family. Students from various study programs are invited to show their best qualities and it is hoped that they will become pioneers of regional development. This was conveyed by the Chancellor of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd at the Friendly Event which took place in the Seminar Room of the Faculty of Medicine, on Tuesday (26/9/2023).
Affirmation Program, according to the Chancellor Prof. Lasmawan is a form of government attention in the context of equitable development of Indonesia’s Human Resources (HR). It is hoped that this will attract students’ attention and understanding. Students are encouraged to always follow the lecture process well and demonstrate their best academic abilities so that later they can become graduates who are competitive and able to contribute to the development of their respective regions. “I hope that these affirmation students will later become pioneers of regional development,” he said.
Through this meeting, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T., M.T.I. He also shared information related to academics and cooperation which includes MBKM policies and international programs implemented by Undiksha. Affirmation students are expected to be able to participate in the program.
Meanwhile, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. I Ketut Sudiana, M.Kes conveyed about student organizations at Undiksha. It was emphasized that Ormawa is a space for learning to develop one’s potential and hone soft skills. Therefore, he encouraged students to actively participate. (hms)
