Singaraja- Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha) was once again listed as the champion in the national level event. This was achieved by two teams in the 2021 Indonesian LPTK MIPA Association (DIMAS-TI AMLI) Education, Mathematics, Science, and Information Technology Student Show. The first team consisted of Kadek Aldi Setiawan, Ni Kadek Dwi Utami, and I Ketut Ardika. The second team consisted of Komang Hendri Nugraha Putra, Kadek Dwiki Juliantara, and Kadek Sonia Wikantari. All from the Department of Mathematics.
The competition with the host of the Indonesian Education University (UPI) consists of 3 competitions. One of them was a microlearning competition which was participated by 13 teams from LPTK universities in Indonesia. The Undiksha team presented microlearning products, which are a way of learning in the form of small, special and essential pieces. In this case, students can control what and when they learn. In particular, the first team named Undiksha 1 presented material on the rules of enumeration. In the announcement of the winners which took place on July 27, this team won 3rd place. Meanwhile, the second team named Matrik’s Jaya presented integral calculus material and won first place. This achievement also led Undiksha to become the second overall winner.
Dwiki Juliantara stated that this achievement could not be separated from the supervisory role of Dr. I Nyoman Sukajaya, M.T. and I Made Suarsana, S.Pd., M.Sc. as well as support from faculty and rectorate leaders. “We are preparing for this competition on the sidelines of teaching and preparing for thesis exams,” he said, Monday (8/2/2021).
For this achievement, he and his team members are proud. “Of course I am very happy and happy, because it is the first time I have won at the national level representing campus. During the final presentation, we had problems with the network being unstable, so it was really unexpected for us to get this achievement,” he said. In addition to this achievement, previously several team members have also won achievements in national level competitions in mathematics and scientific work.
Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Public Relations Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Suastra, M.Pd expressed his appreciation for this achievement. According to him, it is the result of the spirit of work and struggle. It is hoped that in the future there will be more students who make similar achievements and at a higher level. “We at the headship really support students to compete,” he emphasized. (lpsy)
