Singaraja – The General Election (Pemilu) which took place on April 17 2019 attracted the attention of students from the Department of Law and Citizenship, Faculty of Law and Social Sciences (FHIS) Ganesha Education University (Undiksha). The public, especially Buleleng Regency, is invited to exercise their right to vote according to their conscience. This was conveyed in a peaceful demonstration, Wednesday (10/4/2019).
The action which started at 08.00 WITA was filled with a long march from the campus on Jalan Udayana to Jalan Diponegoro, Singaraja. Apart from giving speeches, a number of students also brought flags, banners, and posters. The action coordinator, I Gusti Lanang Aghistanaya Yogie, revealed that the democracy party did not rule out the possibility of being surrounded by negative actions. Such as money politics and things related to SARA. Society must respond to this intelligently. Don’t be influenced to the point of triggering divisions in society. “We invite the public to reject dirty political practices,” he said.
