Singaraja- The Racana Jelantik-Jempiring Student Activity Unit (UKM) at the Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) commemorates its 33rd anniversary. The opening of a series of activities was held at the Auditorium of the SMA LAB at the Ganesha University of Education, Sunday (7/5/2023). This momentum is used to exalt the spirit of devotion and service.
The head of the committee, I Kadek Yogi Suardana, said that the commemoration of UKM’s anniversary is not just an annual routine. More than that, to always raise the spirit of the members. Like the theme that is carried out “Unremitting Devotion to Achieving a Definite Goal”. The theme has the spirit that to achieve big goals must be accompanied by the desire to serve and serve the agency as well as the nation and the state, the nation’s young generation needs to carry out a joint movement by embracing all parties wholeheartedly. “Because in essence we as social beings and fellow human beings must help each other and embrace each other if anyone needs help from one another. All of this is done to achieve maximum results in accordance with the expected goals by actively compiling it bit by bit by all of us based on a sincere and whole-hearted feeling,” he said.
The same thing was conveyed by the Head of UKM, I Ketut Satria Ardana. He reiterates to embrace one another in devotion and dedication to achieve the expected goals based on whole-hearted sincerity,” he added.
The opening ceremony was also attended by the Head of the Academic Bureau for Student Affairs, Planning and Cooperation (AKPK) of Ganesha University of Education, Drs. I Made Yasa, M.Pd. He who represents the Deputy Chancellor for Student Affairs, Public Relations, and Undiksha Alumni, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Suastra, M.Pd conveyed this anniversary commemoration as the first step to improve the quality of future work programs. “I emphasize that planning further activities or work programs is in accordance with the Vision and Mission of the University of Education of Ganesha,” he said.
On this occasion, I Made Yasa also invited Scout UKM members to always maintain the spirit of nationalism, strengthen nationalism and become a generation with character. “Especially the Racana Jelantik-Jempiring Scout UKM can be an example for the younger generation to become a generation with character while still highlighting the spirit of scouts who are disciplined, honest, brave, and cheerful,” he added.
After the opening of the XXXIII Anniversary series, the activity continued with blood donation in collaboration with the PMI Buleleng Blood Donor Unit (UDD) with members of the Racana Jelantik-Jempiring Undiksha Scout UKM members and the general public. This year’s XXXIII Anniversary is also filled with various activities, such as a National Essay Contest, Scout Gymnastics Video Competition, Social Service and Community Service, Flower Sowing, and a National Webinar.
