Singaraja- Students receiving Indonesia Smart College Card (KIP-K) of Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) are encouraged to continue to achieve and actively develop their potential. This was conveyed by the Head of Undiksha’s Academic and Student Affairs Bureau, Drs. I Made Yasa, M.Pd., in the opening of a series of commemorations of the XII Anniversary of the Undiksha KIP-K Communication Forum (Forkom), Sunday (16/2/2025).
The opening ceremony began with joint sports activities, fun games, and various competitions attended by hundreds of KIP-K semester II and IV students and the committee. This activity aims to strengthen solidarity between students and to grow a competitive spirit in an atmosphere of togetherness.
This anniversary event does not only focus on entertainment, but also includes academic and social activities. On the next day, Forkom KIP-K Undiksha held a Community Service (P2M), national essay competition, seminar, and art exhibition night. This program is expected to have a positive impact on students and society.
Drs. I Made Yasa, M.Pd. emphasized the importance of being responsible for the KIP-K scholarship that has been received. Students must complete their studies on time with good grades. In addition, they must also become individuals who are excellent and active in various self-development activities.
Furthermore, he encouraged the program organized by Forkom KIP-K Undiksha to be able to contribute to the achievement of the Main Performance Indicators (IKU) of Higher Education. Therefore, program planning must be done carefully, including in terms of effective and efficient funding.
Interestingly, the 12th anniversary of Forkom KIP-K was also used as a socialization event for new student admissions for the 2025/2026 academic year. Undiksha opens opportunities for 8,484 new students from Diploma III level to doctoral program (S3). Forkom KIP-K is expected to participate in the information distribution so that more students will know the opportunity to pursue education at Undiksha.
With various activities organized, the 12th Anniversary of Forkom KIP-K Undiksha is not only a celebration, but also a momentum for KIP-K recipient students to continue to develop, achieve, and contribute to society and institutions. (hms)
