Singaraja- The Reasoning and Scientific Work Student Activity Unit of Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha) shows concern for others. This is done through the Community Service Program.
This annual program was held in two places. First, on February 17, 2023 at SDN 5 Tajun, Kubutambahan District, Buleleng Regency. Activities carried out in the form of education and teaching to students. In addition, there was also a distribution of stationery donations. Second, on February 20, 2023, community service targeted the Ananda Seva Dharma Orphanage with activities in assisting in the form of necessities, stationery, and clothing.
The Committee head, Kadek Bella Ayu Gayatri, said this community service activity is one of the Reasoning and Scientific Work Student Activity Unit programs in 2023. This activity raised the theme “Love for the Country: Hand in Hand Caring to Give Smiles”. The theme reflects that Undiksha’s Reasoning and Scientific Work Student Activity Unit will always unite and join hands to channel a sense of concern through love for the country for the sake of a smile and mutual happiness. “This Social Service and Community Service activity is expected to contribute both in terms of motivation, especially for elementary school students and orphanage children who are the target of this activity to be more eager to achieve dreams,” he said.
Undiksha’s Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Public Relations, and Alumni, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Suastra, M.Pd., who was present at the community service at the Ananda Seva Dharma Orphanage, gave appreciation for students’ concern for the community. “This activity is a form of implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. We appreciate it,” he said, accompanied by PKIM UKM Supervisor, I Made Ardwi Pradnyana, S.T., M.T.
