Singaraja- Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha) through Lembaga Pengembangan Pembelajaran dan Penjaminan Mutu (LPPPM) welcomes the implementation of the Internship program of the Freedom to Learn Independent Campus Lor Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) for students in the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. The debriefing of this program was carried out Sunday (18/12/2022) online. This activity was attended by Intern PICs and Study Program Coordinators at Undiksha, as well as all MBKM Internship students.
Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Cooperation Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T., MTI, opened this activity on behalf of the Rector. He explained that the MBKM internship program will be implemented as equivalent with 14 credits and will be carried out for one semester. “This regulation Following the agreement we made at the time of curriculum restructuring,” he said.
Students from non-educational study programs will carry out this program based on their competencies. It is expected to provide experience for students to be ready to face various challenges and changes when they graduate from tertiary institutions.
In implementing the internship, Rasben Dantes is optimistic that it will go well. However, he still hopes that the substance of the quality of this internship program can continue to be improved and that the internship PICs and study program coordinators can plan various activities to be carried out by students. “First, we want to meet with potential partner supervisors in the industry to design activities for one semester there so they get the competencies they should get,” he said.
It was also emphasized that this internship program was designed for students to get hands-on experience in the field. The apprenticeship training activity is one of the processes that must be carried out in the entire MBKM internship process. In the future, this internship activity hoped can be improved both in terms of quality and the systems or information technology used to support the operation of these activities. (hms)
