Singaraja- The Undiksha FC football team will compete in the PSSI League 3 Bali Region. The team made by Ketut Chandra Adinata Kusuma came out with full strength and is targeting to qualify for the semifinals.
Before competing, the players were released by the Chancellor of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd. He, who the vice-chancellors accompanied, expressed his appreciation for Undiksha FC’s participation in the match. He emphasized that in a match, winning is the goal. But safety and sportsmanship are a must that is upheld. “Don’t just want to win the match and want to be champion to the point of sacrificing safety,” he said. It is also hoped that participation in this match will be a means of measuring the team’s strength which can then be used as evaluation material.
Coach, Chandra said that in this match, Undiksha FC fielded 20 student players and 6 alumni. Undiksha FC is in group B with Putra Tresna Bali, Putra Pegok and PSAD Udayana. Facing this match, training has been carried out intensively. “The target in the league is currently to play sportsmanship in every match and qualify for the semifinals,” he said. The match will take place at the Ngurah Rai Stadium, Denpasar. Preliminary rounds on 13, 16 and 19 November 2023.
In this match, the Undiksha players’ jerseys were supported by East Hooligan Apparel. Apart from that, it is also supported by BPD Bali, Bank Mandiri, and BSI Singaraja Branch. (hms)
