Singaraja- A student of Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha), participated in Indonesian Student Entrepreneurship or Kewirausahaan Mahasiswa Indonesia (KMI) Expo XIII that took place at UPN Veteran Jawa Timur on 22-25 Nov 2022. Five entrepreneurial products were exhibited: Usada Center, PAZDG, Madu Alas, Segara Luwih, and Ecopatran.
KMI expo is an activity carried out routinely every year by the Directorate of Belmawa, Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology or Kementrian Pendidikan, Budaya, Riset, dan Teknologi (Kemdikbudristek) and followed by student entrepreneurs from various universities in Indonesia. In 2022, Expo followed by 2345 universities. The event with the theme of “Entrepreneurs Change to Good Life” is a forum for communication, building networks, and learning between Indonesian entrepreneurs. This event was also part of the 2022 Student Entrepreneurial Development Program or Program Pengembangan Mahasiswa Wirausaha (P2MW) and Student Digital Entrepreneurial Innovation or Inovasi Wirausaha Digital Mahasiswa (IWDM).
KMI Expo activities include product exhibitions, KMI Awards (P2MW and IWDM), Startup Summit, the best entrepreneur companion, and awarding of the best Booth/Stand. Supervisors also accompanied Undiksha’s participation in the KMI Expo event for each business product, namely Nyoman Karina Wedhanti, I Gusti Lanang Agung Raditya, I Wayan Pardi, Anak Agung Yudha Martin, and accompanied by student staff, Wira Udayana.
The Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Public Relations, and Alumni of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Suastra, M.Pd., said that the participation in this KMI Expo is Undiksha’s commitment to continuously developing and introducing student entrepreneurial products that are growing.”We hope that through this event, student entrepreneurial products can be increasingly recognized. From this event students can also gain experience and insight for future entrepreneurship development,” he said.
Undiksha continuously strives to increase the number of entrepreneurial students. Besides answering the demands of Higher Education Key Performance Indicators or Indikator Kinerja Utama (IKU), this is one of the efforts to produce competitive graduates. “We continue to maximize coaching so that the entrepreneurial climate at Undiksha continues to develop,” he added.
