Badung- Teacher Professional Education Student Competency Test or Uji Kompetensi Mahasiswa Pendidikan Profesi Guru (UKMPPG) in-Position category I (KI) Phase I has ended. The pass rate for Undiksha PPG in-position I participants at the previous UKMPPG was 88 percent. This figure is higher than the national average of 79.92 percent, which was revealed in the PPG implementation evaluation and reflection meeting, Friday (9/12/2022).
Undiksha PPG Coordinator, Drs. I Gede Nurjaya, M.Pd., said that although the UKMPPG pass rate is relatively high, evaluation, identification of deficiencies, and identification of good practices are still being carried out to improve the quality of PPG implementation in the future.
The pass rate increase is carried out by preparing students to be better and strengthening collaboration with accompanying lecturers and shadow teachers. Likewise, the deepening of the material continues to be maximized. “So students must be prepared as well as possible, given the best possible in-depth material, then invited to follow the PPG process, and continue to be motivated to carry out PPG as well as possible,” he said.
At the meeting, which took place in Kuta, Badung, preparations were also discussed for UKMPPG in-position Category II in 2022 which is scheduled for 17 and 18 December 2022. This exam will be carried out based on domicile, and participants will take part online from their residence or a place with internet access.
The Head of the Undiksha General Affairs and Finance Bureau, Ni Luh Wayan Yasmiati, S.H., M.Pd., who attended this meeting, represented the Rector, was expressed her appreciation for the performance of the PPG team, which was considered good. He also reminded that reporting on the implementation of activities must be prepared carefully and thoroughly and supported by documentation.
In the future, it is hoped that the implementation of PPG Undiksha will be even better and will always refer to implementation instructions and technical instructions. Through this PPG, Undiksha is expected to be able to contribute more to creating superior and professional teachers. (hms)
