UKM PKIM held a Social Service activity which was held at SD Negeri 4 Kaliasem, Kaliasem Village, Banjar District, Buleleng Regency on Saturday, January 12, 2019. This Social Service was an activity in a series of Student and Student Scientific Creativity Events (Acclamation) for the 2018 UKM PKIM Anniversary.
After previously holding a Scientific Writing Competition at SMA/K/MA level throughout Bali and a PKM Competition at Undiksha Student Level, the same theme is being carried out again, namely “Creating OUR Generation (Creative, Innovative, Advanced, Active) to Welcome a Golden Indonesia 2045”. The purpose of holding this activity is to provide assistance to students at SD Negeri 4 Kaliasem. This is a form of real concern for children’s education. The hope is that the government and related agencies will be able to provide decent education, just like advanced schools in general. Because it is appropriate for students to care about education for the children who will be the next generation of this nation.
In this social service activity, several activities were carried out such as gymnastics, games, making technological works from used materials, distributing books to students, and handing over mementos to the school. Through this activity, it is hoped that the children’s fighting spirit will remain high even in the midst of limitations and can inspire children in other schools. (UKM PKIM)
