Singaraja– Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) together with the University of Indonesia (UI) held a friendly tennis match, Thursday (27/7/2023). The competition which took place at Undiksha Indoor Tennis, Jinengdalem Campus, Buleleng, Bali is also a space to strengthen the synergy between the two universities.
In this match, both universities fielded their best players. The game went on in a friendly manner. Undiksha Deputy Chancellor for Planning, Finance and General Affairs, Dr. I Wayan Artanayasa, M.Pd who represented the Chancellor gave his appreciation for the presence of the UI tennis team at Undiksha. He also emphasized that this match was a trial event for the Undiksha tennis team before competing in the 2023 Education Personnel Education Institute (LPTK) Cup in Malang which is planned to take place in October. “Of course, this is a source of pride for us at Undiksha because the UI tennis team can attend a friendly match,” he said while hoping Undiksha could make a return visit to UI, both specifically for tennis matches and to discuss collaboration in the field of Higher Education’s Tri Dharma.
UI Warek for the 2014 – 2019 period in the Research, Development, and Industrial Cooperation, Sunardji, S.E., M.M. as the CTUI Supervisor gave his appreciation for the warm welcome from the Undiksha Tennis Team. He hopes that the synergy that was built in this friendly match can continue and can be strengthened.
He conveyed that this activity was part of a series of activities to celebrate the 2023 UI Anniversary. He emphasized that this match was to build a spirit of unity, togetherness, and a form of love for the sport of tennis. (hms)
