Singaraja– The sharing action for residents affected by Covid-19 by the Academic Community of the Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) continues. Saturday (31/10/2020), this was carried out by the Management Student Association (HMJ), Faculty of Economics.
This action targeted a number of residents around Singaraja City and the Widya Asih Children Home Singaraja Orphanage. Students who work directly with the Head of the Management Department, Dr. I Nengah Suarmanayasa, S.E., M.Sc., distributed groceries in an effort to ease the community’s economic burden. This activity is a form of implementation of the Higher Education Dharma, namely community service. “The Covid-19 pandemic has had quite an impact on the community’s economy, including in Buleleng Regency. From this, our students move to share,” said Suarmanayasa.
Specifically for the Widya Asih Children’s Home Orphanage, assistance was also provided in the form of stationery. It is hoped that this assistance will benefit the community. “This is what we can do. Of course, this assistance is not much. But we hope to be able to provide benefits, both for the general public and the orphans,” he said. In this action, the students continued to implement the Covid-19 prevention protocol. All must wear masks and gloves. (rls)
