Singaraja- The Ugracena Bali Student Regiment Battalion B-920/Jayastambha Undiksha revived the national spirit on Friday, November 8, 2019. This was demonstrated through the Preliminary State Defense Education at the Buleleng Regency Kindergarten in collaboration with the Bali Provincial Nationality Group at the Monument to the Struggle Tri Yudha Sakti, Singaraja.
This activity also commemorated Heroes’ Day on November 10 2019 and Puputan Margarana Day and followed up on the Ministry of Home Affairs’ program regarding Training of Trainers for Kindergarten teachers. This activity involved 160 kindergarten students from Hardika Jaya Kindergarten, Cudha Carma Paket Agung Kindergarten, Kumara Bhuana Kindergarten, and “Hindu-Based” Widya Dharma Bali 2 Kindergarten accompanied by each teacher from each Kindergarten.
This activity was opened by the UKM Superintendent of Menwa Battalion B-920/Jayastambha Undiksha, Putu Gede Parma, M.Par and attended by representatives from the Education and Youth Service of Buleleng Regency, Head of Curriculum for Early Childhood Education and PNF Komang Sudarsana, Chairman of the Bali Province Menwa Corps Bagus Ngurah Rai, Commander of the Ugracena National Defense Corps Bali, Darma Putra, Commander of the Bali Ugracena Menwa Corps, Anak Agung Parwata Panji, Chairman of the Ugracena Menwa Corps of Buleleng Regency Made Cantiari, Commander of the State Defense Corps of Buleleng Regency Ketut Rusena, Chairman of the Ugracena Menwa Corps of Badung Regency Mr. Krisna, Danramil, Head of Sukasada Buleleng Police, Chief Perip of Buleleng Regency, representatives of Undiksha ormawa and State Defense Children of SMK N 1 Singaraja, and the Ugracena Student Regiment Battalion A-901/Mayurajana Udayana University and the Commander and Staff of the Ugracena Student Regiment Battalion B-920/Jayastambha Undiksha.
Commander of Menwa Battalion B-920/Jayastambha Undiksha, Wayan Widnyani said this activity was to instill a spirit of defending the country and love for the motherland from an early age to kindergarten children, by providing basic understanding such as the introduction of the Four Pillars of Nationality, namely Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution. , NKRI and Bhineka Tunggal Ika. “We hope that later the younger siblings will know their true identity as the Indonesian nation, reject radicalism and stop using drugs,” she said.
This activity went wisely and according to plan and expectations. Through this activity, teachers are expected to participate and contribute to instilling and cultivating a spirit of defending the country and love for the motherland in kindergarten children from an early age so that later a golden generation will be created to succeed the Indonesian nation. “We hope there will be support from all parties.
