Signed MoA, FMIPA Undiksha and UT Denpasar Encourage the Quantity and Quality Improvement of Tri Dharma of Higher Education

Singaraja- The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Universitas Terbuka (UT) Denpasar in the Vice Dean I room of FMIPA Undiksha, Wednesday (28/12/2022).

Dean of FMIPA Undiksha Prof. Dr. I Nengah Suparta, M.Si., explained that the signing of this agreement aims to improve the quality and quantity of various activities in the Tri Dharma of Higher education field, namely education and teaching, research and community service. He hopes that in the future, Undiksha and UT will not only carry out activities in the laboratory but can be filled with other academic activities. In addition, the agreement that has been made does not just in black and white but is accompanied by real action.

He added that UT and Undiksha have similarities in terms of study programs and majors. So that in the future, many things can collaborate. “I think there is a lot we can do and this is a great start for us to collaborate on various activities in the future,” he said.

Director of UPBJJ UT Denpasar, Agus Tatang Sopandi, S.Sn. M.Pd., expressed his appreciation for the good reception given by all levels of leadership at FMIPA Undiksha regarding this collaboration. It is hoped that the signing of this MoA can strengthen the relationship between Undiksha and UT, especially UT Denpasar. He also agreed that the activities that would be carried out would not only target practicum activities but also be extended to other activities in other areas of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. “Not only practicum is the target, but in other fields that cover the Tri Dharma of Higher Education,” he explained.

This activity was also attended by Vice Deans I and III of FMIPA Undiksha, Undiksha Laboratory Representatives, and related staff. (hms)
