Quite a number of Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) students receive Bidikmisi scholarships. Every year it reaches hundreds of people. To balance this, students are encouraged to improve their quality and be superior to others. This was emphasized by the Vice Chancellor for Student and Alumni Affairs, Dr. I Gusti Ngurah Pujawan, M.Kes., when providing socialization, on Saturday (24/11/2018).
Students who receive this scholarship are selected. Comes from an underprivileged and high-achieving family. “Scholarship recipients must have excellence. “You have to show your achievements,” he stressed. It was further explained that the achievements that must be achieved are not only academic but non-academic, such as the Student Creativity Program (PKM) and the Student Entrepreneurial Program (PMW) which are very prestigious at the national level. “This is what must be followed,” he said.
Pujawan continued, Undiksha has a special team to accelerate achievement. It is hoped that there will be a tit-for-tat movement from students. “Undiksha has also prepared rewards for outstanding students. “This encourages us to compete,” he explained. Students who receive other scholarships are also expected to do so. It was emphasized that achievements, especially at national and national levels, are very important to improve the university’s grades. “Undiksha’s vision is to become a superior university based on the Tri Hita Karana philosophy in Asia by 2045. Making this happen is strongly supported by achievements,” he added. (hms)
