Furthermore, many Undiksha students have made achievements, especially in the field of sports. In fact, it’s not only on a national scale, such as karate but there are international ones, one of which is woodball. This achievement is expected to be maintained and improved. The reason is, that it is not only important to increase individual competitiveness but also to be able to increase the grade of the institution. “We hope that achievements will continue to be born, especially from sports,” he said. To support the birth of reliable athletes, this university which has a Faculty of Medicine is trying to improve its supporting facilities. “We are also trying to make other facilities better,” added Jampel.
One of the coaches, Kadek Happy Kardiawan, S.Pd., M.Pd., revealed that the athletes who were sent down were selected selectively. “At least they won a bronze medal in Porprov Bali,” he said. As mentioned, to be able to compete with other athletes, training has been done optimally. “There are those who, after appearing at the Tabanan Porprov, practice again on campus. Hopefully, we can get the best results,” added the man who is also Deputy Dean III of the Undiksha Faculty of Sports and Health (FOK). (hms)
