Students from the Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha), led by Ni Kadek Tina Sumerti and supported by team members Pande Komang Primandani, Ni Luh Putu Gita Duwi Cahayani, and Ni Ketut Tila Heryantini, under the guidance of their supervisor, Dewi Anzelina, M.Pd., have launched a program entitled “Reviving the Legacy of Cupak Grantang Through Digitalization for Children’s Character Building.” This initiative is being carried out at the Gayatri Widya Mandala Orphanage Foundation, targeting pre-school to Junior High School students aged 3 to 15 years old, with a total of 33 participants. The age group was carefully selected as it represents a critical period for character development in children.
This program runs from April to July 2024, spanning 12 sessions. It begins with a program introduction, followed by socialization, training, and mentoring, culminating in a competition. The primary goals of this program are not only to foster character-building in children but also to help preserve and promote Balinese cultural heritage in the digital age.
