Singaraja- University of Education Ganesha (Undiksha) students, Ni Komang Aprilia Enisari and Ni Made Sindy Warasniasih won second place in a national level essay competition held by the University of Bengkulu’s Sustainable Development Goals Center, 19 to 21 January 2020.
This achievement was reported to Undiksha Vice Chancellor III, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Suastra, M.Pd, Tuesday (28/1/2020). Both explained that the competition was attended by 55 teams from a number of universities in Indonesia. Some are included as prestigious universities. “From 55 teams, after the presentation, 25 teams qualified for the final. Finally, Undiksha won the second place,” he said.
Getting a brilliant achievement, this team tried hard, starting from preparing the essay material a month before to preparing the presentation. “For the presentation, we only prepare one day,” she added. Meanwhile, the vice-rector Prof. Suastra appreciated this achievement because it was able to support the clustering of higher education institutions, both at the national and international levels. “This achievement is very important for the institution. Of course, we appreciate it,” he said. This achievement is expected to be a motivation to be able to give birth to other achievements and at more prestigious events. “We also encourage other students to excel,” he added. (hms)
