Singaraja- Students of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (FK-Undiksha) continue to show their progress in competitions. Proud achievements were also achieved, one of them by Made Suda Cakra Wibawa. This fourth-semester student collected three winners from the national-level scientific essay competition.
Cakra, as he is usually called, won first place in the Miracle National Essay Competition organized by the Public Health Student Association (HMKM) of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. This series of events will take place from April 2021 to May 2021. Furthermore, as the third winner in the World Cancer Daya National Essay competition, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, the series takes place from November 2020 to February 2021. Finally, as the first winner of the 2021 Retina National Essay Competition, FK University Wijaya Kusuma Surabaya, whose series will take place from June 2021 to July 2021. “Participants who take part in this event are diverse and, of course, come from universities all over Indonesia. More than 100 participants took part in these competitions,” he explained when confirmed Sunday (7/25/2021).
In particular, he gave a brief description of the essay written. In the 2021 FK Unud World Cancer Daya National Essay Competition, what was raised was the latest diagnostic modality for HCC (hepatocellular carcinoma) cancer. The idea to create this work is due to the fact that there are still diagnoses that often go wrong, so a modality with much higher specificity and sensitivity is needed.
In the 2021 Miracle National Essay Competition HMKM FK Unud, which was written about making hand sanitizer from basil leaves and aloe vera, which was integrated with an internet base. The reason for making this work is that the price of hand sanitizer is still expensive, and there are still those who use hazardous chemicals. While at Wijaya Kusuma University Surabaya, he made application construction to overcome burnout in health workers. This application will provide a structured and systematic assessment of burnout. Then, the app will help with that. “All of his works are related to health,” he said.
The success of achieving achievements certainly ignites a sense of pride in him. This achievement cannot be separated from the support of the university and faculty who have accommodated his talent in the field of writing. “The medical study program gave me skills in writing through the end of semester assignments and from each lecturer. From this, I learned to hone my skills,” he said. In addition to these three achievements, previously, Cakra also won a silver medal with his team at the IPITEX Bangkok, Thailand, as the first winner of the 2020 economic management creative national essay, the second winner of the 2020 acclamation essay, and being the 2021 Buleleng Regency Genre Ambassador.
