Singaraja – Ni Putu Ayu Pirdayanti, one of English Language Education Study Program students of Undiksha created new achievement in the national level. She managed to get three trophies from three different events. This achievement was conveyed to Undiksha’s Vice Rector for Student, Alumni, and Public Relations, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Suastra, M.Pd., Wednesday (19/5/2021).
For the first trophy was achieved from National Story Telling Competition which was held by Kejar Mimpi Palembang in March 2021. In this event, which was attended by dozens of participants, she got the 3rd winner. Ayu revealed, “This competition raises the theme of folklore from each region. I presented the story of Calonarang,”
The second competition was also the National Story Telling Competition in the English Fair activity organized by the English Student Association of STKIP PGRI Trenggalek in April 2021. She got the 6th place in this competition with dozens of student category participants.
The third achievement was achieved from the National Competition of Hindu Dharma Wacana (speech), a series of Joint Study activities from KMHD Bogor Agricultural University in May 2021. In this event, she achieved the third winner. She explained, “Preparation is more than one week, especially for mastering the material. From this competition I can gain new experience, and also learn from other people.”
Vice Rector III Undiksha, Prof. Suastra appreciated this achievement. “This is an honor, because in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, Undiksha students are still enthusiastic in participating the competition.” He further stated that this achievement was not only important to improve student competitiveness, but also universities, both at national and international levels.
