Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) has dozens of Affirmation students. Students from various study programs are expected to become a generation capable of contributing to the success of national development. This was conveyed by the Chancellor of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd., during a meeting in the Rectorate’s Ganesha III Room, on Wednesday (4/9/2019).
He who was accompanied by Vice Chancellor III, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Suastra, M.Pd., explained that students from various regions, such as Java and Papua, must continue to improve their quality, and be able to attend education according to regulations. It was emphasized that there were already students from the same program who had made brilliant achievements. It is hoped that this will be followed. “The Affirmation Student did not lose. There are those who get high GPAs,” he said.
Delivered further, in receiving education, students are also asked not only to focus on the academic field. But also equip themselves with soft skills which are very important in facing the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. The era is changing very fast and difficult to predict. “You have to hone your skills. How much is coming in, going out must also be like that,” he said.
Undiksha continues to echo the philosophy of Tri Hita Karana. Namely inviting the entire academic community to establish good relations with God, with others, and with the environment. This student is also expected to be able to implement it. “The atmosphere at Undiksha is very conducive. Perhaps this is because it was inspired by Tri Hita Karana. It has penetrated into the soul,” he said. The Chancellor from Nusa Dua, Badung Regency added that attention to the students was also given seriously. Likewise with routine assistance. “Every three months there is a meeting,” he added. (hms)
