Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) has successfully advanced to the finals in the Racing Plane category of the 2024 Indonesia Flying Robot Contest (KRTI). The competition, hosted by Yogyakarta State University (UNY), will take place from September 12 to 19, 2024.
Prior to their departure, the Undiksha team consisting of students from the Informatics Engineering Education and Information System programs, sought support from Undiksha leadership on Monday, September 9, 2024. The Rector of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd., represented by the Vice Rector of Undiksha for Student Affair, Alumni, and Public Relation, Prof. Dr. I Ketut Sudiana, M.Kes., attended the meeting.
Undiksha secured a spot in the final after passing regional level II l selection., alongside 23 other teams from various universities. Under the guidance of, Dr. I Made Gede Sunarya, S.Kom., M.Cs., this team already conducted preparation, studying both intensive trial runs and the outcomes of the previous year’s competition to sharpen their skills for this prestigious event.
The Vice Rector, Prof. Sudiana expressed his appreciation for the team’s hard work and dedication in representing Undiksha’s excellence. He encouraged the team to give their best effort to achieve outstanding results. “We extend our gratitude to the team for their excellent preparation for bringing Undiksha to the final” he said.
The Indonesia Flying Robot Contest (KRTI) aims to foster innovation and technological development in the field of flying robotics. This competition enhances the participant’s technical skills and creativity in designing, building, and operating flying robots while also facilitating the exchange of knowledge and experience among participants from various educational institutions and industries.
