To coincide with Mother’s Day (22/12), HMJ Undiksha Management carried out Community Service (P2M) activities. This activity took place in the Bengkala Village Field and was attended by local residents. Before the opening, a leisurely walk was carried out accompanied by plastic waste collection around the village environment.
The opening ceremony began with the singing of the song Indonesia Raya. According to the committee chairman’s report, the implementation of community service is the realization of the work program in field 4 of HMJ Management, where this activity aims to help the people of Bengkala Village.
In his second speech, the Head of Bengkala Village stated that the P2M activities which coincided with Mother’s Day and Social Solidarity Day were the right momentum because there was togetherness between the community and students. He also explained a little about the condition of Bengkala Village.
The final speech was given by representatives of management lecturers who opened the activity symbolically by tapping the microphone 3 times.
There were 4 competitions held at P2M this time, namely the cracker eating competition, the balloon pinch competition, the bamboo relay competition, and the sack race. The competition was attended by all residents of Bengkala Village. The competition was very lively and full of excitement.
After the competition, folk entertainment was presented, namely acoustics, dangdut songs, and jogging. All residents enjoyed the entertainment program which was followed by giving prizes to the competition winners. The activity ended after the handover of cleaning tools and appreciation plaques by HMJ Management to Bengkala Village. (Ayu Krisna, Adi Sumariawan, Budi Setiawan)
