After passing the preliminary stage and being selected as the top 11 finalists for the Planning Generation ambassadors, on Sunday (21/4) coinciding with Kartini Day, UKM PIK-M Pelana held the grand final night for selecting the 2019 Generation Planning Ambassadors for educational pathways at the Ganesha Education University Auditorium. With the theme “The Role of the Millennial Generation in Preventing Juvenile Delinquency”. This event was attended by several guests.
This event began with an opening and remarks from the chairman of the committee, as well as the chairman of UKM and the supervisor of UKM PIK-M Pelana. In his speech, the UKM supervisor, I Dewa Gede Budi Utama, S.Pd., M.Hum, said “By knowing about this Genre Ambassador program, hopefully, this will be a neutralizer for the younger generation. Most of Indonesia’s population is the younger generation. The government launched this special program. “Let’s understand together that apart from the great interests of the nation, this is also our personal interest and that of our families, so building a nation starts from the family.”
After displaying the interests and talents of the 11 finalists for Genre Ambassadors, as well as several tests such as public speaking tests and general insight tests, Kadek Teguh Werdi was chosen as the 2019 Men’s Planning Generation Ambassador for Undiksha and Sella Marellena Mercury as the 2019 Women’s Planning Generation Ambassador for Undiksha. education.
