Singaraja- Thousands of Hindu students at the Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) took part in the widya sabha activity organized by the Undiksha Hindu Dharma Brahma Vidya Student Family (KMHD-YBV) whose opening took place at the Undiksha Auditorium, Sunday (25/9/2022). Through this moment, students are invited to become an intelligent and religious generation.
This time the Widya Sabha carries the theme “Abinaya Abiarta Widyaguna”, which is the process or development of science. The Head of the Committee, I Gede Wahyu Pramana explained that in line with the theme, this Widya Sabha was filled with a number of activities, such as dharma discourse, dharma tula, as well as an introduction to functionaries and work programs from KMHD YBV Undiksha. In addition, the day before a majaya-jaya ceremony was also held as well as a joint prayer. It was emphasized that this activity aims to develop the potential of Hindu Undiksha students. “According to the theme, the purpose of this activity is to develop the potential of Hindu Undiksha students,” he explained.
This event was opened by the Advisory Coordinator of KMHD YBV Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Made Sutama, M.Pd. He, who represented the Chancellor, expressed his appreciation for the participation of Undiksha Hindu students in this activity. Hopefully, this opportunity can be a process of forging to create a young generation of Hindus who are intelligent and religious. These two things are also used as a reference in future program implementation by KMHD YBV Undiksha. “The program designed for the future refers to the formation of Hindu students who are not only intelligent but also religious. The programs are derivatives of those ideals,” he said.
Through this Widya Sabha, Hindu Undiksha students are also invited to understand and increase their knowledge of the tatwa and dresta of Hinduism, so that they can survive firmly in the midst of various challenges. “This needs to be strengthened so that they can stand firm in the dresta, in their tradition. So a tradition that is based on knowledge is definitely better than one that is not based on knowledge,” he concluded. (hms)
