Singaraja- Faculty of Medicine, University of Education of Ganesha (FK-Undiksha) has been established for one year. Despite their very young age, the academic community must continue to race to improve quality, so they can compete with other tertiary institutions. This was conveyed by Vice Chancellor I Undiksha, Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T., M.T.I., when opening the peak of the celebration at the Jinengdalem Campus, on Thursday (12/9/2019).
The establishment of the 8th faculty requires a long process. Colored dynamics that are difficult to forget. The initiators worked hard to make it happen. From that, the academic community must balance it with positive moves so as to increase public trust. “We hope that FK can continue to improve quality. So that in the future it can become the heart of the university,” explained Rasben Dantes.
Seeing the quality of FK’s human resources, it is believed that what is expected can be realized. In terms of competition, students are encouraged to be able to perform and make achievements. This is not only important for faculties, but also for institutional rankings, at both national and international levels. “Now there are quite a lot of enthusiasts in FK. In this year’s student admissions, FK is in the tough competition category. In terms of kuliatas, here is not lost. Of course, we want students to make achievements,” said the former Deputy Dean I of the Engineering and Vocational Faculty. Supporting quality improvement, Undiksha also pays serious attention to learning facilities and infrastructure, one of which is a building that is currently in the planning stage.
Meanwhile, Deputy Dean II of FK, Dr. dr. Ni Luh Kadek Arsani, S.Ked., M. Biomed., emphasized the commitment to improve quality. Including faculty accreditation in 2020. Now, his party has prepared supporting documents. “We have prepared accreditation,” he said. The head of the event committee, Pande Putu Arista Indra Pratama, said the celebration, entitled “FK Solidarity and Family Action” was a momentum to establish togetherness to make the faculty better. Prior to this event, a number of activities were held, one of which was an open house inviting parties from outside the faculty.
