Singaraja- Towards the end of 2021, students of the University of Education of Ganesha (Undiksha) who made achievements continued. This time it came from a national-level essay competition that took place in October. A student of the Law Study Program, Putu Pipit Pricellia Eka Putri, won three trophies. This achievement was conveyed to the Deputy Chancellor for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Public Relations of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Suastra, M.Pd, Monday (1/11/2021).
Pipit, her nickname, explained that the trophy was won from a different essay competition with dozens of participants each. First, from an event held by the Semarang Muhammadiyah Student Association. His essay entitled “The Principle of Hero for Students: Accentuating Self-Quality Through a Balance Between Achievement Studies and Organization” brought him first place. Second, from an event held by MPM, Surabaya State University. He who presented an essay entitled “Forguad System-Based Non-Penal Policy Model as an Effort to Minimize Political Money for the Realization of a Democratic 2024 Election” won second place. Third, the trophy was presented through an event held by the Bali BEM Alliance. He wrote “SLEMAN: Hand Made High-Quality Local Brand Lembongan Mango Jam as an Effort to Restore Nusa Penida’s Economic and Tourism Conditions. The work led him to win the second place. “This competition will be in October 2021. All at the national level,” she explained.
Her success in achieving this glorious achievement could not be separated from the role of supervisor, Dr. Made Sugi Hartono, S.H., M.H., as well as support from the Undiksha leadership. “Of course, I am very proud to be able to present a trophy for Undiksha,” he said. Furthermore, the participation of this fifth-semester student in an essay competition is not the first time. In the previous event, his work had received the title of best paper. Apparently, his love for the world of writing has grown since a long time ago. “I really like to write. By writing for me, I can hone my soft skills. This is also important to face writing the final task later, “she said.
Meanwhile, Vice Chancellor, Prof. Suastra gave appreciation for this achievement. He emphasized that this achievement is not only important for university rankings, but also supports student competitiveness. “Later on in the world of work, this achievement will be questioned.
