Singaraja- Stages of Teacher Professional Education (PPG) in Position Phase I 2019 at the Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) continues to roll out. Friday (12/4/2019) a field introduction program (PPL) was held which was attended by 311 people from the English Language Education Study Program, Elementary School Teacher Education, Early Childhood Education Teacher Education, and Physical Education, Health and Recreation.
The implementation of this activity was divided into two waves, one of which presented Undiksha academic resource person, Dr. Dewa Bagus Sanjaya, M.Sc. He not only explained the technical implementation of the activity but also provided an understanding of Tri Hita Karana. The philosophy that is the basis of Undiksha’s vision to become a superior university in Asia by 2045 is considered very important to facilitate the learning process. It emphasizes how to maintain the relationship between humans and God, each other, and the environment. “This must also be implemented in the activities that will be carried out. This is very important to emphasize. Moreover, it is the foundation of Undiksha’s vision. So you have to know,” he explained.
Based on the data, the participants implemented PPL divided into 60 partner schools with details of 30 elementary schools, 4 high schools/vocational schools, 4 middle schools, and 21 kindergartens. PPG Undiksha Coordinator, Drs. I Gede Nurjaya, M.Pd., briefly conveyed the deployment of participants to schools which will last until May 4, 2019. Apart from that there are also UKMPPG-UKIN, material consolidation, and UKMPPG-UP. “There are several activities that must be participated in,” he said. It is hoped that this program can improve the quality and professionalism of teachers so that in the future they can produce superior Human Resources (HR). “We hope that all of these participants can pass,” he said.
