Singaraja- The Department of Law and Citizenship at the University of Education of Ganesha (Undiksha) has turned 3 years old. At this relatively young age, the academic community continues to move with majors to accelerate realizing the vision through strengthening the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely Education and Teaching, Research, and Community Service. This was emphasized by the Head of the Department, Dr. Dewa Gede Sudika Mangku, S.H., LL.M., after opening a series of birthday events, Saturday (23/10/2021).
This academic from Panji Village, Sukasada District, Buleleng Regency explained that since its inception, the department is committed to producing graduates who are reliable and competitive, by producing professional teachers and law graduates. “This is our big dream. How in the future will it be more qualified and more competitive, both nationally and internationally, “he said.
In order to realize this, strengthening the Tri Dharma of Higher Education continues to be carried out in which there is also collaboration with other parties outside the university. So far, various achievements have been achieved by students, both at national and international levels. This achievement also made the name of the university proud. “The presence of this department certainly also wants to be able to contribute to increasing university competitiveness. So we continue to take strategic steps,” he said.
This anniversary commemoration is filled with activities entitled Civic Law Celebration. Dewa Mangku hopes that in the future it can strengthen the sense of kinship of the academic community in the department. Students are also emphasized to continue to explore and develop their own potential so that later they can become a generation that is strong, successful, and adaptive to change.
“The true essence of this major’s anniversary is not just for fun, but how we can contemplate, like the theme we took “Do Action and Be Creative During The Pandemic”.
The opening of this anniversary celebration is filled with the release of doves. This event was also attended by the Secretary of the Department of Law and Citizenship and also the Coordinating Study Program of Law as a symbol that the event had been opened.
