Singaraja- The Indonesian Red Cross Voluntary Corps Student Activity Unit (UKM KSR-PMI) Ganesha University Education Unit (Undiksha) commemorated the 78th anniversary of the Indonesian Red Cross. This warning was carried out by holding a Skilled Smart Competition (LCT), on Sunday (10/9/2023).
The competition which took place at Undiksha Laboratory Middle School was a form of implementation of PMI’s mission related to developing and strengthening the organizational capacity of all PMI levels to improve the quality of human resource potential. This competition aims to increase the understanding and creativity of the Middle School PMR level throughout Bali which will be held offline and also KSR-PMI throughout Indonesia which will be held online. This activity focuses on materials regarding the redhead.
This competition was opened by the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, Alumni and Public Relations Undiksha, Prof. Dr. Drs. I Ketut Sudiana, M. Kes. He, who represented the Chancellor of Undiksha, welcomed this competition activity. It was further stated that UKM KSR-PMI Undiksha is a forum for developing talents and interests in the form of extra-curricular activities that operate in the humanitarian sector with a spirit of service to others under the auspices of PMI which carries out activities in accordance with the 7 working principles of the PMR Movement, namely Humanity, equality, neutrality, independence, volunteerism, unity and universality.
On campus, UKM KSR PMI is at the forefront in providing accident assistance at major activities, such as PKKMB, Dies Natalis, and other activities. It is hoped that this LCT activity can educate the public, especially students and teenagers regarding the knowledge, attitudes, and skills of the Youth Volunteer Corps so that in the future more teenagers will be promoted by the spirit and spirit of service to humanity through the KSR platform.
Apart from LCT, the commemoration of PMI’s 78th Anniversary will include the 7 Principles Night on September 17, 2023. This activity is to strengthen friendships, from members of the UKM KSR-PMI Undiksha Unit, Ormawa in the Undiksha environment, PMI Volunteers from Buleleng Regency, and others. (hms)
