Singaraja- The series of activities to commemorate the 77th Anniversary (HUT) of PMI UKM KSR-PMI Undiksha were closed, Saturday (17/9/2022) evening by the Head of the General Affairs and Finance Bureau of Undiksha, Ni Luh Wayan Yasmiati, S.H., M.Pd. On that occasion, she invited the UKM KSR-PMI Undiksha Unit to be able to contribute more to society.
The closing ceremony was held in the Undiksha auditorium yard. Present on the occasion, UKM supervisor, dr. I Made Kusuma Wijaya, S.Ked., M.Kes., PMI Buleleng, as well as UKM KSR-PMI Panji Sakti University and Mpu Kuturan State High School of Hinduism, Singaraja. This event runs solemnly and is full of a sense of kinship.
On this occasion, the head of the bureau, Yasmiati, congratulated PMI on this birthday. She hopes that this moment can be used as a spirit generator for UKM KSR-PMI Undiksha Unit in carrying out humanitarian tasks and being able to contribute more to society. “The hope is that KSR PMI Undiksha must contribute to preparedness in helping the people directly affected by the disaster. You have to be ready, both in terms of moral as well as physical and material assistance,” she said.
In order to support the implementation of tasks, members of the UKM KSR-PMI Undiksha Unit are also encouraged to continue to improve competence or skills, one of which is through the implementation of continuous simulations. On this occasion, this bureaucrat from Tabanan specifically gave his views on the existence of the PMI organization. According to him, this organization can be a place to show meaningful life because what is done is very beneficial for humanity.
The Chairperson of the Committee, Ni Putu Eta Ariani explained that in order to welcome the 77th Anniversary of PMI UKM KSR-PMI Undiksha, there were a number of activities carried out, namely blood donors in collaboration with PMI Buleleng Regency, social services, national webinars, Evaluation competitions, Smart, Skilled (ECT), and familiarity activities.
In addition to the evening of intimacy, the closing event was also filled with a declaration of the 7 basic principles of the PMI movement, namely humanity, equality, neutrality, independence, volunteerism, unity, and universality. (hms)
