Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) continues to boost student achievement, such as through the Student Creativity Program (PKM) and the Student Entrepreneurship Program (PMW). Supporting this, the state university in North Bali which has a Faculty of Medicine has prepared rewards. This was conveyed by the Deputy Chancellor III, Dr. I Gusti Ngurah Pujawan, M.Kes., before closing the Week with Biology event at the Undiksha Auditorium, on Wednesday (21/11/2018) evening.
The rewards, he continued, took various forms. There are scholarships and a number of educational support facilities. “This is an effort to increase achievement. Undiksha continues to provide support. “This achievement is very important to raise the university’s name to a wider stage,” he explained.
The achievements presented by students are quite numerous. Not only academic fields but also non-academic fields, such as sports. This is expected to continue to increase. “There have been quite a lot of achievements. “There are national and international ones,” he said.
Especially for PKM and PMW which are funded by the central government, quite a lot of students compete every year, one of which is a student who receives a Bidikmisi scholarship. However, not all of them were able to qualify for the National Student Science Week (Pimnas). “In terms of quality, of course, it continues to be evaluated. “We want future achievements, especially PKM and PMW, to get better,” he concluded.
