Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) was chosen as one of the destination roadshows for the Bali Digital Festival II event organized by the Provincial Government of Bali, Wednesday (31/5/2023). This event is titled “Welcoming the New Era of Education: Adaptation of Artificial Intelligence & Augmented Reality Technology in the Field of Education”.
The activity which took place in the Ganesha III Room of the Rectorate was attended by the Head of Infrastructure and Informatics Applications for the Bali Province Diskominfos, I Gede Agus Arjawa Tangkas, S.H., M.Sc. He said that this Bali Digital Festival is the second time it has been held since 2022. This year, the activities have been expanded with the event roadshow to campus and creative fun walk.
Delivered further, activities roadshow to campus are held on campuses that have business incubator centers, one of which is Undiksha. This activity aims to be able to improve the Bali economy apart from the tourism sector’s digital creative or digital-based economy. It was also conveyed that this activity targeted the millennial generation, namely students so it was hoped that it could encourage other people to find out more about digital creativity.
Undiksha Deputy Chancellor for Academic and Cooperation, Prof. Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T., M.T.I., who opened the event on behalf of the Chancellor of Undiksha, expressed his appreciation for Undiksha’s choice as the venue for the Bali Digital Festival II road to campus. He also gave appreciation to the Provincial Government of Bali which has made many innovative things to develop Bali in the future. Delivered further, in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, technology really made changes to various aspects of human life, both in the economic, social, cultural, and educational fields. Therefore, Undiksha as an academic institution also wants to contribute to be able to produce intelligent and superior generations in the future.
Delivered further, with the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program implemented by Undiksha since 2020, many activities have been carried out to improve the quality of graduates by providing opportunities for students to have entrepreneurial knowledge and insights and also encouraging them to continue to improve their quality through an increase in academic qualifications. It is hoped that this activity can continue to be maintained and provide benefits for students. (hms)
